- History of Tekken
One of the most selling fighting game series ever. Tekken was developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc on December 9, 1994. Tekken was the first fighting video game to use 3D graphics. Tekken includes blocks, throws, escapes, and ground fighting.
- Tekken 1
- In 1994, the official and first-ever version of the Tekken came out in the arcades.
- Later in 1995, it was launched for PlayStation.
- There were 8 unlocked characters to choose from and defeat other players to face the boss for the victory!
- Mode: Single-player, Multiplayer
- Platform: Arcade, Playstation
- Tekken 2
- After the successful launch of Tekken, Namco launched Tekken 2 on August 3, 1995, again, in arcades.
- It features 25 characters: 10 are playable characters available in the arcade version.
- New modes were introduced: Survival mode, Team Battle mode and Time Attack mode.
- Mode: Single-player, Multiplayer

4. Tekken 3
- Tekken 3 was the fourth best-selling fighting game with 8 million copies sold on PlayStation!
- It was launched in 1998 on PlayStation.
- This version allowed more smoothness to the game, allowing a sideward-douge mechanism.
- Players could unlock 20 characters during the achievement complete.
- Mode: Single-player, Multiplayer

- Tekken 4
- Tekken 4 featured interaction with walls and obstacles for the extra damage.
- It was launched in the arcade in 2001.
- In 2002, it was launched on PlayStation 2.
- This one features 23 players (6 new characters, i.e., debut in the series).

- Tekken 5
- Tekken 5 was the sixth edition of the Tekken series.
- It was launched in arcades in 2004. Later in 2005, it was launched on PlayStation 2.
- It features up to 32 players (7 new characters make their debut in the series).
- Tekken 5 was the first video game in which you can customize the clothes of your fighters.

- Tekken 6
- Tekken 6 introduced the new Rage Art System to the video game, i.e., the player can use his rage art at a specific period.
- It was released in the arcade on November 26, 2007. After a year, Tekken 6 got updated and released on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 27, 2009.
- The updated version, named Bloodline Rebellion, includes 41 characters (7 new characters make their debut).

- Tekken 7
- Tekken 7 came up with their best updates: power crush, screw hits and rage drive.
- Tekken 7: Fated Retribution was the updated version of Tekken 7 where the new court, moves and costumes were unlocked.
- It 7 includes 54 players (12 new characters make their debut).

- Platform: Arcade, Playstation, Xbox
