Graduated from the top-notch DU College, Abhimanyu Singh is well known for his 2009 released Gulaal. But what’s the real story and struggle of this man?
1. Famous for Gulaal, Abhimanyu Singh originally belongs to the land of Ranchi. He graduated from St. Stephen’s College, New Delhi.

3. After Graduation, Abhimanyu came to Bombay, met Makarand Deshpande and joined him in his theatre group, ANSH.

“The first day I enter the Prithvi theatre, Mak Sir tells me to pick up a broom and clean the floor, that’s what he told me so, I felt really bad, I said what is this? I could easily see that I am becoming zero, my ego is melting away, that’s what Mak Sir wanted me to, to be completely blank.”

5. After his personality training, Makrand began his acting training and started giving him small roles in his plays. These roles steadily converted into leads.

Abhimanyu’s 2017 released Tamil film Theeran Adhigaram Ondru led to his recognition for another movie, Suryavanshi (2020). Rohit Shetty, after seeing his role in Theeran Adhigaram Ondru, took an immediate decision of casting Abhimanyu for the role of an antagonist in Suryavanshi.
