1. Antara Mali was born on 20 October 1975 to a famous photographer, Jagdish Mali.

2. Antara began her Bollywood journey with Kumar Bhatiya’s Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge! (1998) followed by Ram Gopal Varma’s Prema Katha (1999).

3. Antara, later on, collaborated with Ram Gopal Varma and featured in Mast (1999), Road (2002), Company (2002) and Darna Mana Hai (2003).
For Company, Antara also earned a Filmfare nomination for the Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

4. Antara Mali then received Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon (2003). She spent most of her time watching Madhuri’s movies and observing her moves.

5. In 2005, Antara shot her last film Mr Ya Miss which she also wrote and directed. After that film, Antara discontinued her Bollywood Career.

6. In 2009, a weird incident occurred in Mali’s life, when her father, Jagdish Mali, was found semi-nude and covered with dirt, approached by Mink Brar, and admitted to the hospital.
Jagdish recovered quickly.

7. In 2010, staying 5 years out of the Film Industry, Antara made her comeback in Amol Palekar’s …And Once Again. Antara truly shaved her head as per the demand of the script.
…And Once Again remained to be Antara Mali’s last film in the
Bollywood till today.

8. In 2013, Anatar’s father, Master Photographer Jagdish Mali lost his battle with life and took his last breath at 59 years of age.

9. Antara Mali has done 12 films in her Bollywood career of 12 years, but unfortunately, No Hits.

Antara has been married to GQ Magazine’s editor, Che Kurrien, since 2009, and is hopefully living a happy life. Antara added her name to the list of Stars Who Vanished.
