Everyone loves bicycles. They are probably the most hassle-free mode of transportation globally. But what do we know about the vehicles that we all share our childhoods with?

1. A human-powered or motor-powered, pedal-driven vehicle with two wheels attached to a frame is called a bicycle. Bicycles are a primary means of transportation in many regions.

2. Karl Von Drais, a German Baron, has been credited with the title of “Father Of The Bicycle”. In 1817, he developed the first steerable, two-wheeled vehicle. It was called by several names, like “hobby-horse,” “velocipede,” “running machine,” and “draisine.”
