Chai Ice Cream? Abbe Isse Khana Hai, Ya Pinna Hai??

Chai ice cream is a rescue route for all seasons, be it summers or winters, with the blend of both, a cold scoop of ice cream and a warm cup of chai.If you are cold, tea will warm you;
If you are too heated, it will cool you;
If you are depressed, it will cheer you;
If you are excited, it will calm you.”
– William Ewart Gladstone

Ice cream with chai spices and flavours will blend all the character and warmth of that cup of chai into one divine dessert. Know about this unique flavour, chai ice cream, below:

1. The inspiration for chai ice cream came from Marcus Wareing’s Earl Grey Tea Cream. Tea is a great leveller in India. Of course, there is nothing as exceptional as chai in India.

2. Working with fresh whole spices can make a good chai recipe and a great dessert. And, some of the main ingredients/spices of chai ice cream are:
● vanilla bean
● cardamom pods
● star anise
● cloves
● peppercorns, and
● fresh ginger is a practically irresistible combination.

3. The ingredients of chai have effectively become a flavour of their own. The idea is different and unique because the flavour of chai is considered spicy, and ice cream tastes sweet. But, hell yeah! This world is too short to try all the weird combinations.

4. Chai ice cream generally has a desi chai flavour. You can also replace it with Western Masala blends that focus heavily on cinnamon or cassia. This is while ground ginger and cardamom are more characteristically Indian.

5. The crystallized ginger adds a lovely crunchy texture to this ice cream. Of course, we are talking about chai ice cream, but you can leave it out if you find it too spicy or use roasted almonds.

6. If you are a fan of iced lattes, chai ice cream is a perfectly faithful latte enthusiast.

7. Even Owais Siddiqui, a Twitter user, tweeted pictures of the reimagined version of “chai paratha spiced Doodh Patti Ice Cream with sugar-laced paratha”.

How do you see that parantha chai cream version? Should we declare him the winner of making the weirdest food combination ever? Or do you guys have a better option?

But if you are an ‘adrak’ or masala chai fan. I would recommend you to try this once and tell us your experience in the comment section
