Cult video games are like underrated games, not very successful but have a serious fan base. Cult video games are those types of video games that exist, but for their loyal fan base. Video games are not cult, They are made cult by the audience. Let’s talk about one of some Interesting cult video games that everyone should try once in their lifetime.
1. Limbo
Personally, it is one of my favourite video games ever. Limbo is a puzzle-platformer game developed by Playdead. You control nameless boy Limbo, awake in the middle of the forest to find his sister. Limbo is a Dark themed game with minimalist sounds for creating a haunting environment. Limbo is one of the perfect examples of cult video games.

2. Cuphead
Cuphead is a running video game developed by Studio MDHR in 2017. Cuphead was praised for its great music, gameplay and animation. Cuphead animation was inspired by the Walt Disney production.

3. Mirror’s Edge
Mirror’s Edge is an action-adventure video game developed by Electronic Arts (EA). The player controls the female protagonist Faith Connors completing the levels. Mirror’s Edge became a cult by its immense Parkour moves.

4. Valkyria Chronicles
Most of the audience might have heard about the Valkyria Chronicles. Yet, it is a “cult” for most of the audience. It is a military-based tactical RPG game with a beautiful storyline. Its story takes place in Europe during the time of World War II.

Psychonauts is a platform running video game developed by Double Fine Productions. The player plays the character of Razputin, who ran away from the Circus to sneak into summer camp to become a Psy with psychic abilities known as Psychonaut.

8. American McGee’s Alice
American McGee’s Alice is an action-adventure horror video game developed by Rogue Entertainment in 2000. The player controls the character Alice who can communicate with non-playing characters, fighting with bosses and enemies. Alice can pick up to 10 weapons known as toys.

9. Death Stranding
Death Stranding is an Action-adventure game developed by Kojima Productions. The player controls Sam Porter. The primary task is to supply cargo to the different isolated cities called KNOT. The game is based on the cataclysmic event which caused destructive creatures on the earth.
