Deepak Tijori is an actor and director, best known for his work in Bollywood and Gujrati Cinema. He did supporting roles in Aashiqui, Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar, Kabhi Han Kabhi Naa, Khiladi, Gulaam and Baadshah.

1. Deepak Tijori did his graduation from Narsee Monjee College in his hometown Mumbai. When he was in college, he joined the experienced theatre group which involved Aamir Khan, Aashutosh Gowarikar and Paresh Rawal.

2. In an interview, he said that for 3-years, he sat outside offices, trying to get a word with producers. He managed to do some tiny-roles.

3. Before stepping inside the world of Cinema, he worked for Cine Blitz Magazine. He also worked as a hotel manager.

4. He also acted as a lead actor in Pehla Nasha (1993). Tijori began his directing career with the movie Oops (2003). Later, he produced a mini-series thriller at 10 – Fareb. For this, he won the Indian Television Academy Awards for best mini-series.

5. Deepak Tijori made his first significant appearance in 1990. Mahesh Bhatt cast him to perform the role of the protagonist’s friend in his film Aashiqui. Tijori’s hand movements in the film were broadly followed by the youth.

6. The next film was based on Martin Scorsese’s Taxi Driver, where he played a man killed by a pimp after he runs away with one of the prostitutes.

7. Later on, Tijori experienced many ups and downs in his life. He faced many flopped films and didn’t receive satisfying reviews from critics and the public.

8. In 2013, he directed Do Lafzon Ki Kahani starring Randeep Hooda.

9. He was a part of a reality show Big Boss. After getting out from the serial, he said that he would make a film based on this show, A Laundry Reality. He also produced many TV serials like Rishtey, Saturday Suspense and Khauff.

10. Tijori starred in a commercial for Vadilal. He was one of the critics of Miss India Worldwide 2006 and also been part of Miss India Worldwide 2009.

11. During the 2002 elections for Municipal Corporation of Delhi, he toured for Indian National Congress.

Deepak Tijori, as an actor, was last seen in the movie Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster 3.
