Dil Se was released back in 1998. In a film starring Shahrukh and Manisha Koirala with the visionary Mani Ratnam, all we could expect was fireworks on the screen! The film’s music prevailed under the names of A.R. Rahman, financially backed by Shekhar Kapur and Ram Gopal Verma. However, all it could deliver was a masterpiece that failed at the box office.
The Story Of Dil Se
- Dil Se is an incredible film with numerous political messages. The movie depicts a situation where those who are powerful make the minorities work according to their claims.
- Amar, a young boy who works in All India Radio, falls for a secretive lady who doesn’t respond to his sentiments.Â
- Notwithstanding, when Amar later plans to get married, the lady appears at his doorstep requesting help.

The Characters In Dil Se
- This is one of Shahrukh Khan’s generally refined and sensible demonstrations. He is as serious, clever, powerless, authentic and persuading as Amar.
- SRK passes on his sentiments, regardless of whether it’s distress, love, agony or outrage, in his matchless style, utilizing his disturbing force and anxious quirks.
- One can feel the torment in his eyes, obvious each time he meets this lady who continues to dismiss him.
- Manisha Koirala, quite possibly the most gifted emotional entertainer in India, is flawless as Meghna. She splendidly shows the little subtleties that let us sense her battles with herself to not submit to her emotions each time she faces the other side of the world.
- Preity Zinta, the star herself in her debut film, accomplishes something not many entertainers find tough to achieve: an extraordinary effect despite having little footage. It’s an incredible accomplishment for any entertainer to dominate and establish a long term connection with such negligible significance and screen time. She is energetic and acceptable.Â

The Direction Of Dil Se
- Mr Ratnam’s capacity to make a grand romantic tale but keep it close to reality is simply mind-blowing.
- It causes the watcher to accept that extreme love doesn’t exist just in fantasies. It also exists in reality with basic and conventional individuals.
- Dil Se is an uncommon pearl of its occasions-bona fide, hard-hitting, grasping and profoundly including.
- A few groups have considered it somewhat monotonous. However, as indicated by many, the film moves at a consistent speed and is engaging.

- The film was initially titled Ladakh-Ek Prem Katha.

- The opening scene of “Chhaiya Chhaiya” of the film was shot in Ooty.
