Fastest Bikes In The World That Are Nearly Unrideable

Who doesn’t desire to know a little more about the fastest bikes in the world? We all must have experienced the joy of riding on a highway with the wind blowing through our hair. It feels amazing. However, bikes are dangerous as well. If you don’t keep your speed in check, things can go wrong very quickly. The public safety disclaimer aside, motorcycles have come a long way in the past 20-30 years. These mean machines have only become faster and faster. This makes one wonder, “What’s the fastest bike in the world?” If you’re someone who thinks about that, then this list is for you. As the scrolling hits the last point, the bikes become faster.

  1. Aprilia RSV 1000R Mille

Manufactured between 1998 and 2000, this bike is still popular among bike enthusiasts. Powered by a 1000cc engine, this bike can go from 0-100 in just 3.8 seconds. It has a maximum power of 141.3BHP and has a top speed of 280km/h.

  1. MV Agusta F4 1000R

With the same engine displacement as the Aprilia, this bike can reach 0-100 in just 2.7 seconds. Full of technology, the 8-level traction control on this bike makes the handling great even at high speeds. It has a top speed of 296 km/h.

  1. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R

This monster of a bike was built as an answer to Suzuki’s Hayabusa. Powered by a 1441cc engine, this produces 105kW at 10,500 RPM. It is a legend in the motorcycling community, a bike best left only to advanced riders. It has a top speed of 298 km/h.

  1. BMW S1000RR

BMW recently updated this bike with a completely new look. The iconic half-bug-eye look is no more. That’s just sad. However, the motorcycle has become even faster and more powerful than its predecessor. It can go from 0-100 in just 2.7 seconds. It has a top speed of 304 km/h.

  1. Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird

This bike was the fastest bikes in the world at one point in time until the Hayabusa dethroned it. Powered by a 1137cc engine, the Blackbird is a precision instrument for speed. Its engine produces 153BHP, and the bike can reach a speed as high as 305km/h.

  1. Kawasaki Ninja H2R

This bike is a modern monster. Powered by a 16-valve 998cc engine, the H2R hits 0-100 in just 2.5 seconds. It has a top speed of 356 km/h.

  1. MTT Y2K

One day, a genius had an idea of fitting a helicopter engine in a motorcycle and voila! The Y2K was born. One of the most powerful production motorcycles, the Y2K has a top speed of 363 km/h.

  1. Suzuki Hayabusa

The name Hayabusa means “Peregrine falcon” in Japanese. This bike was Suzuki’s response to the Honda Blackbird. If you look deeper into it, a peregrine falcon hunts by dive-bombing into other flying birds. Similarly, Hayabusa “hunted” the Blackbird. One of the most famous bikes, it has a top speed of almost 400 km/h.

  1. Dodge Tomahawk

This insane bike has a Dodge Viper SRT10 8.3 litre V10 engine fitted into it. It also has 4 wheels. It is the most powerful bike in the world. However, because of its unusual design, it is illegal in some countries. It can reach 0-100 in less than 1.5 seconds and has a top speed of 560km/h.

Did this blow your mind? Some of these bikes are so fast that they are almost unrideable! The windblast at these speeds must be insane. Fast or not, riding bikes remains an enjoyable experience. Which one of these fastest bikes in the world has left your mouths open with their speed?
