Let’s know the story of Gulshan Devaiah, the Hate Story actor, who attracted tons of appreciation, fame and obviously more movies after his role as Siddharth Dhanrajgir.

1. Gulshan Devaiah was born on 28 May 1978. He proved to his family that he would do something in the Entertainment world just as a 5-years-old.

2. Gulshan Devaiah was used to participating in several plays and was the only child who was comfortable playing female parts in school plays.

3. Gulshan’s mother was also a stage actress, and his father was very fond of collecting movie cassettes.

4. Gulshan Devaiah debuted in Anurag Kashyap’s short, Girl in Yellow Boots, and then appeared in Dum Maaro Dum and Shaitan.

But his journey from Kolkata to Mumbai was not simple at all.

5. After his schooling, like other teens, Gulshan Devaiahwas also trapped between his thoughts about passion and career. Luckily, he was good at drawing and chose fashion designing.

6. Gulshan Devaiah worked for almost 8 years, full time, freelancing, and teaching Fashion and doing small parts in the English theatre.

Gulshan was interested in acting but was not confident and gained confidence by watching Satya and Manoj Bajpai’s role.

7. Gulshan, in 2008, packed his bags and finally decided to go to Mumbai and give acting a shot.

He gave himself two years to be someone.

8. At Mumbai, he joined Rajat Kapoor and started working under him in theatre plays, and togetherly would give auditions.

9. He bagged the role of Chitiyapa in Anurag Kashyap’s short, Girl in Yellow boots.

10. Gulshan Devaiah then appeared in Dum Maaro Dum and Shaitan. Both the movies earned him the nominations of numerous Film Awards.

11. In 2012, Gulshan bagged the lead role of the antagonist in Vivek Agnihotri’s erotic thriller, Hate Story.

12. Gulshan Devaiah then appeared in Peddlers and Ram-Leela before getting a fabulous lead in the adult comedy film, Hunterrr.

Hunterrr became one of the influential films of Gulshan’s career. He came to be known as Hunter and Vasu.

13. Gulshan Devaiah started his 2019 from a double role in adventurous Mard ko Dard Nahi Hota and ended with the antagonist of action-packed  Commando 3.

14. Gulshan is married since 2012 to a Greece actress Kallirroi Tziafeta.
