A gifted actor who gave 50 years of his life to the Indian Cinema, Kamal Kapoorwas the uncle of later actors Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor and Shashi Kapoor.

1. Born in Punjab, British India, Kamal was part of around 600 movies, including the cinemas of Hindi, Gujrati and Marathi films.

3. Legendary, Prithviraj Kapoor, was the cousin of Kamal Kapoor.

After serving 50 golden years in the Indian Film Industry, at the age of 90, Kamal Kapoor took a peaceful rest in August 2010.
