1. Badshah Tomb: This peculiar piece of architecture is the resting place of the mother of Sultan Zain Ul Abidin. It is situated on the right riverbanks of the river Jhelum.

2. Dal Lake: This shimmering lake is known as the Jewel in the crown of Kashmir. It lies on the foot of Mount Shridhara.

3. Chashme Shahi: It lies on the southeastern side of Dal Lake. Beautifully laid out Mughal Gardens by Jahangir and extended by Shah Jahan in 1632.

4. Shankaracharya Temple: This temple is located on the top of Shankaracharya Hill on the Zabarwan Range. It overlooks the entire city of Srinagar.

5. Pari Mahal: The palace of fairies is a seven terraced garden located at the top of the Zabarwan Mountain range.

6. Sri Pratap Singh Museum: This museum is perfect for someone interested in learning about the city’s history. It exhibits Mughal antiques, handicrafts, costumes, books dating back to 4 and 8 centuries.
