7 Benefits of Practising Pilates

Named after Joseph Pilates, who invented this, Pilate is a type of exercise that helps you to experience low-impact flexibility, greater endurance, and better muscle strength.

Following are several reasons why and how practising Pilates can benefit your health:

  1. Pilates is best for Abs and Core Exercises. It helps you keep fit your lower back, abdomen, hip, and pelvic muscles, also assisting you to lift-up heavy items, and frame your body shape.

2. Pilates also benefits in improving your posture. It strengthens weaker and underdeveloped muscles. It helps to cure problems like backache, neck ache, headache (etc.,) and also help you to get rid of bad posture.

3. Pilates is an exercise where your movement is slow and controlled. It is also best for those who do not want to take part in high-impact exercises/sports. Thus, Pilate avoids any pressure on knees and joints.

4. This exercise helps you to improve your flexibility; muscles are uniformly developed through regular stretching and exercising.

5..Pilates enhances cell growth, organ function, and gives healthier skin, which allows blood to flow more freely through your body, thus benefiting the blood circulation in the body.

6. Pilates improves spinal and pelvic alignment, beneficial for pregnant women in maintaining their fitness and also promoting efficient body mechanics, preparing the body for the strain of childbirth. Thus, doing this exercise can be beneficial both during and after pregnancy.

7. Pilates boost stamina, raise energy levels, lowers the cholesterol levels, releases stress, lowers blood pressure, strengthens the immune system and improves breathing in regularity, thus, making your body experience a better health condition.
