- Bengaluru:

Situated at the foothills of the Mullayanagiri range, Chikmagalur is famous for its scenic beauty, lush green forests, and the Yagachi river. The place is ideal for a short trip away from the cities in nature’s lap, with some fresh coffee. The main attraction centres in Chikmagalur are Mahatma Gandhi Park, Coffee Museum, Mullayana Giri, and Kudurekuha Jamly.
- Srirangapatna
Shaped like an egg and situated in the Mandya district of Karnataka, Srirangapatna is a popular picnic spot 22 kilometres away from Mysore. Surrounded by the river Kaveri on all sides, the town has vintage vibes and a lot of historical relevance to it. Srirangapatna used to be the capital of Mysore under Tipu Sultan’s rule. Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Dariya Daulat Palace, Balmuri Falls, and Colonel Bailey’s Dungeon are some of the main tourist spots in Srirangapatna.
