Preeti Jhangiani is the actress you probably first noticed in Mohabbatein.
1. Preeti Jhangiani was born in Mumbai, on 18 August 1980 to Gobind Jhangiani and Menka Jhangiani.
But that wasn’t the first time Preeti appeared on Big Screen.

2. Preeti Jhangiani graduated from Jai Hind College. She started her career at a very young age of sixteen through Modeling and advertisements.
She appeared in the Nirma Sandal Soap commercial.
That commercial was not less than a music video for a 90’s kid.

3. Preeti made her On-Screen debut in Rajshri Music Album, Yeh Hai Prem (1998) alongside Abbas, especially in songs Chui Mui Si Tum Lagti Ho and O Piya.

4. Preeti made her Acting debut with a Malayalam film, Mazhavillu (1999), followed by a Telugu film, Thammudu (1999).

5. Next, in 2000, Preeti got a call from Yash Raj Office, only to hear an offer to be cast in the biggest film of her career, Mohabbatein.

6. Mohabbatein gave a push to her career, and succeedingly, she got to be part of two Comedy films, Awara Paagal Deewana and Waah! Tera Kya Kehna, both in 2002.

7. Preeti has been a part of several Bollywood films such as Baaz: A Bird in Danger (2003), LOC Kargil (2003), Aan: Men at Work (2004), and many more.
Although Preeti has appeared in several regional language flicks, none of her films could lead her to stardom.

8. Preeti married actor Parvin Dabas on 23 March 2008. The duo has two kids, Jaiveer and Dev.

9. There were also rumours about her engagement with Firoz Nadiadwala, but the actress disproved.

10. Preeti and Parvin also own a Film Production company, Very Fishy Films, based in Mumbai since 2009. They produced Parvin’s directorial debut project, Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande (2011).
