1. Born on 25 June 1951, Satish Shah is a Hindi and Marathi film and television actor, loved even today for his perfect comic timing, witty comments and humorous performances.

2. Graduated from St. Xavier’s College and Film and Television Institute of India, Satish Shah decided to be an actor, when he was in the 12th standard.

3. In his College times, Satish Shah was pretty good at both sports and academics. He used to play a lot of indoor and outdoor games.

4. Shah played more than 50 different characters in a year in his first sitcom Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, directed by Kundan Shah and Manjul Shah.

5. After Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, Dilip Dhawan offered him a small role in Saath Saath, where Satish met his future wife, Madhu.

6. It was not the first time he met Madhu. In fact, Shah had proposed Madhu two times but got rejected. He wanted to try his luck for the third time without knowing that she will finally say yes!
They both married in 1972, and Shah considers Madhu as his lucky charm.
