The Story Of Silsila

The film revolves around the characters of Shekhar (Shashi Kapoor). Shekhar is a military official in love with his wife Priya (Jaya Bachchan). The couple is going to get hitched just when Shekhar is executed in war.
Priya is bothered and distressed as she is giving birth to the infant of Shekhar. His sibling Amit (Amitabh Bachchan) is a writer and a romantic human. He is in love with Chandni (Rekha).
