Incorporating inside the land of diversity are 28 states of India (as of 2020). Know the date of when these states received their statehood, along with their official languages and capitals.

India is a nation of diverse ethnic, tribal and cultural groups and so are the states of India! Thus, making the demarcation of its borders pretty tough. With its peculiar street-to-street influence, further diversifying the land, there’s no doubt that Indian demarcations to a commoner are perhaps only for the nation to rule independently.

- Founded on 1 November 1956.
- Official State Language is Telugu.
- The State Capital is Amaravati. Judicial Capital is Kurnool.

- Founded on 28 February 1987.
- Official State Language is English.
- The State Capital is Itanagar.
3. Assam
- Founded on 26 January 1950.
- Official State Language is Assamese
- The State Capital is Dispur. Judicial Capital is Guwahati.
