1. Born and graduated in Chandigarh, Surveen Chawla, known for making it big both on TV and the big screen.

2. Chawla, in her young days, always wanted to have a job that includes helping people, and later on, she decided to be a doctor but became an actress.
Destiny played its game there, and She got her first at the mere age of 19.

3. Chawla made her television debut in the Indian daily soap opera, Kahin To Hoga (2003), as Charu, followed by Kasautii Zindagi Kay (2004).

4. Her search for acting in films took her to South Film Industry, where, Surveen made her cinema debut with a Kannada film, Paramesha Panwala (2008) followed by a Telugu film, Raju Maharaju (2009).

5. Surveen debuted in Bollywood with a cameo in Hum Tum Shabana (2011). She was much active in special appearances in songs like Dhoka Dhoka, Sawan Aaya Hai, and Tutti Bole Wedding Di.
