Video games with negative responses have to suffer even if they can be in “cults,” as most gamers pick the game according to these responses. Video Game Ratings matter a lot for their development in the gaming industry.

 

 

Here are some of the gaming franchises that received a negative response:

 

 

1. Pac-Man for the Atari 2600

Pac-Man is the most sold video game by Namco. Pac-Man for Atari 2600 was launched in 1982. Soon it turned into video games with negative responses from the critics and gamers due to its poor audio and graphic rendering problems. It was considered the worst arcade game ever made.

 

 

2. Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero

Mortal Kombat is known for being the best fighting combat game. Focused on their main character Sub-Zero, it released a video game, Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero. It entered the list of video games with negative responses for its poor controls, outdated graphical appearance and unforgiving gameplay.

Postal III is a third-person shooter game developed by Trashmasters and Running with Scissors in 2011. Its publisher hired the developers Trashmasters to design the video game. Due to a lack of resources, results came out as a mess. It became one of the worst video games with negative responses from critics and gamers, so much so that it was pulled away from the store!

4. Fallout 76

Fallout 76 is an action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios. It was an addition to the Fallout Series but a “dhaka” to many. The Graphics of Fallout 76 were not defined, and the game server received lag problems. Update patches fixed the lag, but glitches were reintroduced.

5. No Man’s Sky

A space exploration, survival game developed by Hello Games, No Man’s Sky features 18 quintillion planets with unique designs. The storyline and gameplay ranked it in the video games with negative responses due to its promotional interview. It didn’t provide any features mentioned in it.

6. FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction

Another addition to the Fallout Series developed by Bugbear Entertainment. FlatOut 3 was a vehicle combat racing game with realistic but bright graphics, poor racing mechanism and a choppy game. This impacted critics and gamers for making it enter the video games with negative responses.

7. Fast and Furious: Showdown

One of the top-notch movies when it comes to the racing genre. Fast and Furious: Showdown was based on the Fast and Furious Game Series. The fans and the critics were very much excited about this game. After the launch, it came out as trash. The weak shooting, short, buggy missions, ugly tracks and undefined graphics made it win a space in video games with negative responses.

8. Yaris

A racing game based on the Toyota Yaris Supercar Model was launched for the Xbox 360. It didn’t receive a positive response from the critic and the audience. The game’s mechanism, graphic soundtrack and all things were just messed up, just like the Toyota Yaris.

9. Narcos: Rise of the Cartels

Drugs Banned! Play Narcos: Rise of the Cartels and become the drug lord. Inspired by the Netflix series Narcos, the context of the game is directly linked with the series. To complete the video game, you must binge-watch the Narcos Series. Thus, it somewhat made to video games with negative responses.
