Ways To Spend Day Together

We’ll talk about some ways to spend day together. And by together I mean you and your baby. It can be one of the best parts of a relationship to decide what you want to do with your partner, including going on dates, having dinner, and which movies you want to watch after a long day of work. These moments can be so nice, and they can make a person smile. Additionally, they are the glue that binds you together.

Take a trip

A new restaurant, an impromptu road trip, or exploring a new city are all options you might consider. Once you share a memorable experience with someone, you can’t help but feel more connected, so invite your partner in, especially if you’ve been stuck.

Together, be present

Living a busy life and spending lots of time together can make it easy to forget all the reasons for which you started dating in the first place. However, if you set aside time to reconnect and focus, you can reestablish that sense of closeness.

Oxytocin, which “enables bonds to be formed between two partners in a relationship,” is responsible for making you feel connected after having sex. Therefore, if you’re both in the mood, this could be a good way to spend your free time.

Holding Hands

You can also boost your oxytocin levels by snuggling on the couch, holding hands, or hugging – anything that makes you feel close. Hugging also lowers cortisol levels, which is the stress hormone, so that we feel less stressed; this is important when you’re bonding with your partner.

Ask them about their day

When you and your partner have been overwhelmed by busy schedules – and are losing touch as a result – it can be helpful to ask about each other’s day whenever you’re together.

Schedule a regular date night

Designate Friday evenings as date nights if you usually have some free time on Friday. Be consistent. As a result, regular date nights give couples a way to stay connected despite everything else life throws at them. 

Get Together to Do Chores

Together, you can accomplish household chores, creating the feeling of working together as a team.

Do Some Exercise

There is nothing better than taking a long walk, running, or hitting the gym together to bring you closer together. When you exercise as a couple, you can support each other.

Have a good laugh

Keep yourself and your partner laughing whenever you can. “Having fun and laughing together is a great way to bond and relieve stress at the same time.”

The longer you spend together, the closer you become. Initially, everything you do in a relationship feels intimate. Over time, though, you may need to try new things to reconnect. That’s okay.
