5. Hand-eye Method: An easy one for beginners, this meal should have at least 1/3rd of the lean proteins, 2/3rd of the carbs, and a slight amount of fat.

6. The hand-eye method is suitable for most people as it is flexible. Moreover, it allows you to dine out at restaurants.

7. Zone Food Method: Often followed with the Hand-Eye Method, this one personalizes your diet by evaluating a perfect composition for the day. An average male takes 14 zone blocks while an average female takes 11.

8. Each zone block meal is composed of 7 grams of proteins, 9 grams of carbs and 1.5 grams of fats.

9. Lean protein, monounsaturated fat and carbs with low glycemic index foods are great to eat when practising this diet.

10. Unfavourable foods in zone-diet are high sugar fruits, starchy vegetables, soft drinks, cakes/cookies, and coffee/tea.

11. High-Starch, Sugar and many other processed foods are not allowed in this diet.
