2. Swara’s father was a Navy officer, and her mother was a teacher of Cinematic Studies at JNU.

5. Swara, to try her fate in acting, moved to Mumbai in 2008, but, due to no big-connections, she had to do what all the newcomers do.

7. Swara Bhaskar, after striving for three months, finally landed her first film, Niyati, but that was not the film Swara made her debut with. In Fact, Niyati was never released.

This film was also screened in the 33rd Cairo International Film Festival.

9. Swara then selected for Anand L Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu for the role of Payal, and the film proved to be lucky for her as she was again cast for Anand. L Rai’s Raanjhanaa.

Swara Bhaskar stated in an interview that she started crying while dubbing for her character in Raanjhanaa.

10. The actress, in Nil Battey Sannata (2015), portrayed the role of a 35-year-old single mother, which earned her the Best Actress.

11. Swara Bhaskar also started a production house along with Ishaan Bhaskar, her brother. The house was named, Kahaaniwaaley, established on 25 January 2019.
