Rajat Bedi is an actor, whom most of us remember, because of his role as Raj Saxena in Koi…Mil Gaya (2003).

1. Born on January 1st, 1969, Raj Singh Bedi is an Indo-Canadian film actor.

But, Rajat Bedi has been in the Film Industry way before Koi…Mil Gaya happened.

2. Rajat started his Bollywood journey as an assistant to Ramesh Sippy Sir and gradually started landing him some parts (in movies).

3. Rajat also did his part as a stunt-double in Karan Arjun (1995), Duplicate (1998), etc.

4. Rajat first appeared in 2001: Do Hazaar Ek (1998) alongside Tabu and Jakie Shroff in supporting roles.

5. Rajat afterwards played several villainous and supporting characters in commercially successful films such as,

International Khiladi (1999), Koi Mil Gaya (2003), Indian (2001), Koi Mil Gaya (2003), Jodi No.1 (2001), Aksar (2006), Partner (2007), and so on.

You will be surprised that Rajat was not the first one from his family to step into the film world, but,

6. Rajat’s parents, Narender Bedi and Veena Bedi, brother, Manek Bedi and sister, Ila Bedi Dutta, also have remained an integral part of Bollywood.

Moreover, Rajat is also the grandson of Urdu writer-director, Rajinder Singh Bedi.

7. Rajat, in 2008, moved to Canada and initiated his construction firm, Kraftsmen Horsham Construction LTD.

Rajat once stated in an interview that he was not satisfied with the roles he played.

8. In Canada, apart from having a business, Rajat would also produce some Dramas.

But, Rajat couldn’t forget his love for movies, which initially brought him back to India.

9. Rajat, after a long gap, made a comeback with Indian TV show Lajwanti (2015) as a producer.

10. Keeping his Bollywood career aside, Rajat is also the first Indian to represent India at Manhunt International in 1994.

11. Rajat was supposed to make his Bollywood comeback with Radhe, but he had to drop out of the film.

Rajat stated in an interview that Salman called him and suggested he wait, Salman said that he wants to give him a comeback vehicle which will be much better than Radhey.

12. Rajat has also contributed to several Punjabi Films from behind the camera, such as Punjab 1984, Sardaar Ji, Sardaar Ji – 2, and many more.
