Songs of Amit Trivedi have mostly been a punch of unique and refreshing music to the mainstream music of India. From the soft and romantic songs of Fitoor to the crazy Emosanal Attayachaar–each one seems to be well-studied and lived.

 

As we were unable to give any single-digit to the Songs of Amit Trivedi that one must-listen–here is a list of albums & songs that won Amit Trivedi most prestigious honours.

  1. Dev D (Soundtrack Album under T-Series)

Released on 31 December, the soundtrack of the movie Dev D consisted of 18-songs. Emosanal Attyachaar with the shaadi’s band-baraat flavour went onto become the chartbuster. It remained on the lips of Indian Youth for years.

  1. Udaan (Soundtrack Album under T-Series)

The soundtrack of the critically acclaimed movie, Udaan consisted of 7-Songs. It was released on 29 June 2010 and immediately received a positive response from the critics. The songs are meaningful, heartwarming and uplifting, just like the movie itself.

  1. Queen (Soundtrack Album under iTunes)

Album was released between 23-24 January 2014 and won massive recognition, again, just like the movie. The additional remix was released on 1 March 2014 of the song Hungama Ho Gaya.

  • Best Music Arranger and Programmer and Best Film Song for the Song London Thumakda – 2015
  1. Manmarziyan (Soundtrack Album under Eros Music)

The tracks of Manmarziyan were released on varying dates and were critically well-received. Total of 14 Songs was composed by Amit Trivedi.

  1. Wake Up SidIktara Song (Soundtrack Album under Sony Music Entertainment)

Though the album was composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, one of the compositions of this soundtrack-album went on to become evergreen! Guess which? Indeed, Iktara.

  • Listener’s Choice Song of the Year for Iktara – 2009
  • Best Film Song for Iktara – 2009
  1. Lootera (Soundtrack Album under T-Series)

The album was crafted per the 1950s Classic Bollywood Songs and consisted of 6-songs. Monta Re was inspired by the Baul Tradition of Bengal.

  • GiMA Award for Nayi Soch for Monte Re– 2014
  1. Secret Superstar (Soundtrack Album under Zee Music India)

The complete album was released on 21 September 2017. It consists of 8-tracks. The full-direction was done by Amit Trivedi.

  • Best Music Director – 2018
  1. Andhadun Naina Da Kya Kasoor Song (Soundtrack Album under Zee Music India)

The composers were Raftaar, Girish Nakod and Amit Trivedi and were released on 21 September 2018. He mostly covered the remainder of the album.
